In Chapter 9 Brady goes fishing with his dad in hopes that his dad will talk to him about everything that has happened. The topic never comes up in the conversation and Brady says he is suffocating. Why does Brady describe himself as suffocating?
When Brady said he is suffocating because he feels he has no other choice and he is surrounded and has nowhere to go and he feels sorry that the crabs were gonna die and wouldn't get a second chance just like when Ben died he never got a second chance.
I think he trying to describe himself by saying he was suffocating i think when they went fishing him and his dad Brady probably fell out of the boat because the water was so deep they should of been wearing life jacket and at the time they probably have any so his was probably paying attention to him because he was busy fishing so brady was probably meesing around and fell in…..
Brady is describing his feelings this way because he is not over Ben dying. He can’t keep his emotions bottled up. Like at the end he can’t take it any more. He also says that the words were stuck in his throat. I guess this is hitting him hard.
Brady is suffocating because he is overwhelmed about Ben dying and doesn't know how to handle it. Brady also thinks about the baby crab and thinks about how he got a second chance But Ben didn't get a second chance. Brady was also thinking about what Mr. DiAngelo was doing now that Mrs DiAngelo was in the hospital.
Brady is describing his feelings about the crabs, comparing Ben because Brady wanted Ben to stay alive and Brady want the crabs to stay alive that's the same way Ben died but Ben died in the water so if the crabs stay out the water to long they could die so Brady didn’t want the crabs to died.
I think Brady is feeling that way because Ben died and he thinks that he is the one that did it and it’s not so now he feels sad because ben died and he said that that’s why his mom moved on because amanda died.And so he is thinking about everything in the past.
Brady refers to himself as suffocating because he wants to help. And he confused. And is trying to help both his dad and the crabs because he knows they don't get a second chance like Ben.

Then he see’s his dad in the kitchen in the morning and he asks if he can go crabbing and his dad says yes. So then they go crabbing and brady just looks at the crabs a says that they don’t have second chance. So he says that he is the thinking about having a second chance because of ben not having a second chance then he froze and just stood there and was suffocating.Then he kept throwing the crabs overboard for some reason maybe he wanted them to have a second chance.
Brady describes himself as suffocating because he can’t say what he wants to say. Then he can’t breath so then he sees the crabs and realizes that the crabs did not have a second chance. Now he says in his mind Ben did not get a second chance and Ben should have. Then all of a sudden Brady starts to dump out all the crabs into the water so they have a chance to live.
Brady is feeling mad that he suffocating because I think that he does not have life anymore because his his sister and his best friend Ben died so he think what is the point of living. so he went out of control and threw out all of the male crabs and his father hollered at him.
Chapter 9 How he felt he is suffocating is that he still sad about Amanda and Ben and feels the way of when he cached the crabs and felt like it’s happening to Ben and he dumped them back in the water. Also Brady doesn't know if the deangelos know that he saved Ben and Brady don’t know where mr. deangelo is he on the couch watching tv said Brady.
Brady said he feel like he's suffocating so he goes crazy. So he poor all the crabs in the water he was so sad because his friend. Ben died and he wanted to talk about it and he was getting angry that his dad wasn't asking him what was wrong with him and. He wanted to tell his dad that he found the Red Kayak.
Brady want his dad to ask him how he feel about Ben dying he Brady can’t hold the feeling in about Ben dying just like his little sister and Brady love his sister and Ben. Brady was feeling nuts because Brady found the red kayak and he did not want eat so the next day Brady was hoping that his dad would ask him how he feel.

Brady suffocating because when Ben died and Brady was still mad at the river so Brady knocked the crab pot over because Ben only got one chance and the crabs only get one chance because they are gonna eat them and Brady wants them to have 2 chances so he knocked over the crab pot.

Brady said he’s suffocating because he didn't feel right for what happened to Ben when he died at the hospital that morning . So he thought it was his fault that Ben died so he threw the crabs off the bout with his dad.
what i think Brady thinks he’s suffocating because he might of ate the sandwich and choked.my next thing about Brady suffocating is he might of drounded in the water.
