We've got a pulse! Brady does some quick thinking when he discovers Ben. Brady remembers some training he received from the fire station workers. What does he remember and how does he use it to help Ben?
Chapter 5 What he learned to use medical help is that he remembered the ABC’s A was airways and B was breathing and c was circulation and he used these tactics to help Ben and when he was done he tried to find a ambulance and he found one. He went to them to help Ben and Brady they got blankets and Brady put his cap on Ben. But he left Tilly behind and they came to help Tilly.

Brady remembers ABCs And Brady does CPR for C. he does one breath and then does five compressions to Ben. Brady does it over and over and over. Soon he hears voices and sees people and they take Ben to an ambulance and then Carl says that they have a pulse.

Brady also remembered how to do CPR because he did t with his dad and saw Carl do it more than once. Brady kept doing CPR on Ben tell he got to where the ambulance was. It was hard for Brady too because it was raining hard. When Ben got into Brady’s boat, Brady took off his life jacket and parka because it was soaked with cold water. Then Brady put his parka on bet to make him warm. Then Carl took over and put Ben in the ambulance.
How Brady discovers a pulse he uses the abc’s to help Ben. Brady helps Ben by the abc A is airways so Brady put his finger under Ben’s nose. B is breathing Brady choke out flood he also shut off the motor so he could hear him breath or not. C is circulation Brady moved Ben on his left side and some water poured out his mouth Brady gave him cpr to help him.
Chapter 5 Brady needed to remember the ABC because the fire workers trained him and showed him how to do CPR. And he helped Ben by helping the others guys do CPR so ben wouldn’t die because if they wouldn’t of helped he would of died because it said that he cheeks were freezing cold and his lips were blue as a fresh bruise and that he couldn’t breathe so one of the fire workers plug his nose and try to open his mouth and they did and then one of the fire men put there mouth up close to his mouth and breathe in is mouth and it said that one of them put two fingers on his chest and didnt feel him breathing...
Brady remembered from the fire stationed workers. And What Brady remember was the ABC’s from the how Brady help Ben he said was airways and then he looked at Ben’s nose. Then he did B was breathing so he checked if Ben was breathing.And Brady remembered was for C was circulation so he said Ben’s blood had to be moving around. Then he kept doing five compressions and one breathe and also he had make sure the boat was moving the right way.
The ABC’s are, A stands for airways and Brady Quickly, but gently because he knew you have to handle cold people gently or their hearts will go nuts he rolled him onto the left side some water trickled out of his mouth. The B stands for breathing Brady pulled the choke out to the flood the motor and shut it off so he could here but Brady couldn’t hear anything he put a finger under Ben's nose and couldn’t hear anything still. The C stands for circulation Ben needed to have his blood moving around too and Brady did CPR on Ben.

Brady uses all on Ben to make sure he’s alive and still breathing.First, Brady checks Ben’s breathing by putting his finger under Ben’s nose. When there is none. Second, Brady stops the motor to hear Ben’s breathing. Third, Brady gives CPR to start Ben’s circulation .

Then he thought of C what did C stand for he asked himself oh yeah he said C stood for CPR so he did 5 compressions one breath he did that over and over again then he got to shore the Ambulance took Ben and did that over and over again then Carl said we got a pulse before the ambulance left.
